We care deeply about what goes into our bottles, using natural, wildcrafted ingredients, always vegan and never tested on animals. It’s hugely important that we have a positive impact on our workers and the environment. We partner with suppliers on the ground in India, from our growers who plant and harvest neem to the artisans who hand-grind our powders – we know and value each and every person in the Neem by Sunita Passi supply chain.

As a Nottingham-based brand with strong ties to local businesses, our mission is to support and nurture our city and beyond through community-based projects, such as encouraging people to get green-fingered and donating proceeds of profits to food banks and similar organisations.

We have teamed up with Herbal Exports, our partners in the sub-continent, who look after hundreds of independent farms in Southern India to plant trees. Upholding a positive environmental and social impact we aim to connect as many people as possible to the beauty and power of neem.

It is not just physical measures we have in place, all our team practices mindfulness and our founder, Sunita, is a teacher of the craft. As a socially-conscious brand, we actively do all we can to support mental health in the workplace, prioritising people and their needs.

Growing greener together
In 2022 we launched our fully transparent sustainability profile with Integrity Next to help cut through the green washing and document our learnings. While we have always operated with care and consideration since our inception, as we continue to develop, this profile document helps keep us on track in terms of our safety, resilience and standards and influences – in a positive way – not only us, but the initiatives of our suppliers and partners as well.
